Ongoing Support
Software changes.People do too.The workflow gets ideas.
Passwords expire, fields get renamed and Microsoft occasionally chooses violence. I keep the agreed systems working, investigate errors and stop old workarounds creeping back in.
Your team uses it. I worry about its little internal organs.
From $375 per week. Three-month minimum.
What I look after
The things that move when nobody is looking.
Automation is not a toaster. You cannot plug it in, admire it once and assume it will remain emotionally stable for seven years.
01
Monitoring
I check the agreed workflows, queues and results for failures, missing data and jobs that claim they finished but appear to have achieved fuck-all.
02
Error investigation
I find out whether the problem is the workflow, the data, a connection or a third-party system having a private crisis.
03
Routine maintenance
Connections get renewed, mappings get updated and small technical changes are handled before the workaround spreadsheet returns from the dead.
04
Minor improvements
As the real work changes, I can make small agreed improvements. New systems and major builds are scoped separately.
05
A human explanation
If something fails, I tell you what happened, what was affected and what happens next. Not an automated email containing seventeen codes and the emotional warmth of a parking fine.
The support package
Useful systems still need someone paying attention.
What support looks like depends on what is running, how often it runs and how quickly you need me to respond.
I’ll confirm what’s covered, the response window and the weekly price before support starts.

Keep the machinery doing its job.
